Aging – Oily
Skin changes with age, getting drier and making less collagen – an important skin building block that gives skin structure. New skin cells mature more slowly, and dead skin cells hang around longer (which can clog pores, create dry patches or dullness). Alpha-hydroxy acids spur skin's moisture and collagen creation, and help get rid of dead skin buildup. For exfoliation, look for 5 - 10% AHA to use serval times per week. Under 5%, AHA works as a hydrator and can be used daily. Boost hydration and antioxidants, too, to plump and prevent fine lines.
